In such a sinuous way

In the vagrant distance
那叶小舟
The little boat
那颗明月
The bright moon
可否给我一首心曲
Can they bring me a heartsong
层层思漪
Ripples upon ripples of thought
都不能这样安静地
Cannot lean to the riverside
如昔偎依著河畔
So quietly as of yore
若说是柔情
In case of tender feelings
千丝万缕 只恐
Even myriads of threads I am afraid
系不住你翩翩沉浮的扁舟
Fail to fasten and fix your drifting boat
