每个早晨 我要走过它

With bent waist and crooked back

It only ensures the passage of passengers
匆匆来
In a rush
匆匆去
In a hurry
忙的皆是赶着一天活
Busy for livelong day after day
免被市虎欺凌
So as to avoid being belittled and bullied
出门少了一句叮咛
Urging and warning before going out
过马路要过天桥
Use the overpass when you cross the street
安得倚门盼归人
I am waiting for your return at the door
我愿在你心上
In your heart I am willing
亮起一条天虹
To light a rainbow

人心多变态 奈何
How abnormal of mortal heart alas
不顾我苦心的屈辱
In spite of my humiliation
承受千千万万人的践踏
I bear the treading and tromping of thousands of feet
欲念万千不乏人
People are smitten with various desires
把我当摊位贩卖
Some use me as their low pitches
把我当乐场幽会
Some use me as their place of tryst
流动的人潮长龙似地
Like a long dragon the stream of people
为之停滞瘫痪
Is hence slow and stagnant
多么滑稽的人生过客呀
How farcical are the passengers of life
辜负了一片苦心的我
Who have betrayed my pains and efforts
懊丧地
In depression
屡听见有若千人徒呼
Vain cries by thousands of people are heard from time to time
奈何 奈何
Helpless helpless
欲过不过的纠缠不休
Alas for the disorder and entanglement
