Using Positive Behavior Support to Improve Behaviors of Special Children in Regular Classes

Abstract Learning in regular classes is the main form for special children to accept compulsory education in China. However,problem behaviors of special students in regular classes have been impeded quality improvement of learning in regular classes.Positive behavior support (PBS) is an applied science that uses methods of education and system change to improve life quality and minimize problem behaviors. It has multiple levels including individualized PBS, classroom-based PBS and school-wide PBS.
