AbstractThe Mozart Effect has been a hot issue in musicalpsychology, eve n in the field of music education in recent years. Many psychologists haveexplained it, b ut most of them only concern neural processing of brain cortex. This article, co mbined with research findings of cognitive neural science, discusses the brain'smus ical cognitive processing, emotional processing and the common processing mechan ism, and finds out that Mozart's music can activate many areas of the brain andcan excavate some areas' potential functions. Meanwhile the research findings ca n help people to better understand the brain's advanced functions.
